Cry me a river that shows only pain,
why do we always have to play such games?
Could you really fathom this world beyond,
see the tiny faces so desperate for love?
Could you really say this world is a better place?
Look at those around deprived of food for days.
Cry me a river that shows only pain,
this world is an infinite way of life with no gain.
Look at those so entirely consumed within,
as they walk along with no worries of another being.
Is selfishness really the way to plead,
to neglect all those really in need?
Cry me a river that shows only pain,
place yourself in the footsteps of those that suffer each day.
Are you willing to take the fall for every abusive word,
are you willing to help them to forget the atrocities once heard?
Will you relieve those suffering from infinite pain,
even though it be not their mistake - it's not their gain?
Cry me a river that shows only pain,
there are so many others suffering,
should i say their name?
Open your eyes to the world around,
stop living in a dream that helps you feel the ground.
Cry me a river that shows only pain,
i wish all would change their words and their ways...

The heart is like an open book
With pages still unwritten
Of dreams and aspirations
That fill us all with hope

The heart is like a wishing well
For all our life's desires
That leads us on our journey
For all that is to come

The heart is like the deepest ocean
Filled with all emotions
That gives us all new feeling
As we travel on our way

The heart is the well being
Of hope and human kindness
That drives the world today
As we travel through our lives
May it lead us all the right way

Mothers are the place where love
Emerges from the earth,
And happiness rings out like bells
In honor of our birth.
Mothers are the sun that lights
For life our inner sky,
So we may know that we are loved
And need not question why.
Mothers are the moon that shines
Upon our black despair,
So even when we weep, we know
That someone's always there.
Whatever fear, or stress, or pain
Might them to anger move,
We know that underneath the storm
We have, always, their love.
