Diye jab sham ki dehleez pe jalnay aate hain,
Sitaare aasman pe jab tim timate hain,
Chandni phoolon pe parti hai, bohat hee khoob lagti hai,
Hum us dum apni aankhoon mein ussay aabaad kerte hain,
Ussey kehna ussey hum yaad kerte hain.....

Muqaddar phir muqaddar hai,
Koi daawa nahi kerna,
Meri takmeel tum se hai,

Jau likha hai wohi hoga,

Mohabbat kay safar mein koi bhi raasta nahi deta,
Zameen wakif nahi banti falak saaya nahi deta,
Khushi aur dukh kay mausam sub kay apnay apnay hotay hain,
Kisi ko apnay hissay ka koi lamha nahi deta,
Udasi jis kay dil mein ho ussi ki neend urti hai,
Kisi ko apni aankhoon se koi sapna nahi deta,
Uthaana khud hee parta hai thakha toota badan apna,
Kay jab tak saans chalti hai koi kaandha nahi deta......

Chalo khwaab aankhon mein saja ker dekhtay hain,
Chalo hum kisi ko apna bana ker dekhtay hain,
Khoon kay rishtun se aitbaar tau uth gaya hai,
Chalo benaam rishtay bana ker dekhtay hain,
Zindagi asaan ho jaye shayad humari,
Chalo haath ki lakeerain mita ker dekhtay hain,
Andheri shab tau kisi soorat katt thi nahi,
Chalo ghar apna jala ker dekhtay hain,
Hamay maloom hai kay tum ne humara hona nahi,
Chalo tum per ye zindagi luta ker dekhtay hain.....

Usko chaha tau bohat magar woh mila nahi,
Laakh koshish ki magar faasla mita hee nahi,
Usko zamaanay nay majboor ker diya is qadar kay,
Meri kisi sada per woh ruka hee nahi,
Khuda say jholi phela phela ker maanga ussay,
Khuda nay meri kis dua ko suna hee nahi,
Her ek se poocha uska na milnay ka sabab,
Her ek nay kaha woh teray liye bana hee nahi,
Main tamaam umar ki koshishoon kay bawajood nakaam hogaya,
Wo usko mil gaya jis nay usko chaha hee nahi.....
